Brown flowers.....

Hello all,

Well last night I was out on my friends leaving do from work and was feeling a bit tired but didn't want to waste the day so I thought I haven't done any crafting in a few days.

I started by looking at what card I had not used before and thought i'd try Brown card.

Birthday bunny...

I love the colour purple and as I had a bit of card left over I thought why not use it for a little birthday card.

I just got a nice little Bunny birthday stamp from Lili of the Valley so thought i'd give it a try with a birthday card.

As i'm learning I now realise that the "Happy Birthday" Should have been in a lighter colour however this is how you learn.

Bye bye Becky...

Well Tomorrow my friend Becky will be leaving Outsourcery to move on to pastures new.

It will be a very sad day, therefore I had to make a card using her favorite colour purple and blue.

I wanted something effective but simple hope I've managed it

Sorry I've been missing for a few days however I couldn't miss my friend Jen's birthday, plus join in the less is more challenge.

Thank you Butterfly.....

Morning All,  Well thought i'd have another play with Shrink plastic and decided to have a go with Butterflies. 

I combined my 2 favorite colour's Purple and green for this card.

A nice purple card with a shimmer green velum.

I coloured in the 3 Butterflies on the shrink plastic cut them out and then heated it up to make these beautiful colourful butterflies.  Hope you like them....

With Sympathy....

A friend of our's mother recently passed away and the funeral is this week so I made a simple card for him to let him know we are thinking of him at this hard time.

I couldn't decide what colour card to do it on white or cream so I did two cards.

Happy Fathers day!!

Morning,

Well today is Fathers day so I had to do a couple of card one for my Grandad and one for my step-dad.

As I don't really have any stamps for the gentlemen as I have only just started up, I was I bit stuck, however these are the best I could Come up with what I had to work with.

While the step kids were round this weekend as they hadn't got there dad a card I thought I best make one.  

So me and Steph decided to make one while Paul (Dad) and Ben went fishing.  So we thought fishing theme would be best idea and as I had a cute Bear image we used that. 

Steph decided she wanted the card background to stand out the little fishing bear and as Paul's face and arms were very brown compared to the rest of him she decided I should colour the bear in like him! lol x  Hope you like.

Morning All....It's the weekend finally..

So on Sunday it's my friend at work Sharon's Birthday, therefore I thought what can i do?

I decided I had some nice cup cake paper, therefore I though what can I do with it and this is what i came up with...

I think its quite cute!!

Howdy all.. Well I got some sad new my Uncle is poorly at the moment so I thought i'd do a card for him, the only thing was i didn't really have any stamps.  

So this is what i came up with and i think it turned out quite well...

Baby on the way...

I have recently been through the hardest experience I could ever go through at 5 months pregnant I was told my baby no longer had a heartbeat and I would have to give birth.

I gave birth to Chloe on 02/05/13 at 20.03 pm.  It has been a very hard time and getting into crafting is helping me through it. 

One of my friends at work announced she was pregnant after her 12 weeks scan a week after I went back to work and I could tell she didn't know how to tell me.  

So I make her this little yellow card to celibate her good news.  She was so pleased and touched I thought to do this for her after all I had been through and said I was a inspiration!

Time with the Family..

Well this weekend I went to see the family as it was my sisters birthday and I had to take some crafting gear with me.  

My 5 year old Niece Mya was so excited she could make her mummy a card so we spent the morning using glue, stickers and stamps.

What do you think to her final creation I think it's very cute!

Horsing around....

This weekend it was my little sister's Birthday so as she is a Keen horse Rider and owns some horses I ordered this Stamp from Stampin up and I love it!

I Started off with a brown background but preferred the Green.
When i Spent Sunday with my friend Jen Nelson and my Stampin up Buddy Lizzi I asked for some tips as I felt the card was a bit boring.  

I got plenty of different ideas however they also introduced me to shrink paper!

I love it as it make thing stand out and you also can create key rings therefore see the finished product.

A little Sweet Treat....

A Friend Stamped me this Hedgehog stamp on white card to help me practice colouring in.

I love the colour Green so thought this stamp would look great with different shades of green card, spotty green paper and velum finished off a bit of green ribbon.

As this is only the 5th card i've ever made I think I did pretty well....

Keeping it Simple

Thought what can I do and came up with this simple card.

I wanted to do a black and white card with a splash of colour I could add sentiment later or find ways to improve it.  

Any suggestions???

Well here's my first Birthday card made for my stepson's birthday.  

The stamp is a LOTV stamp coloured by me with Stampin up colours, sentiment and card.

I have a lot to learn with gluing and sentiment stamping but coming along  

First time Blogging and Crafting

Im Vicky and this is the first card I made !! Not bad for a first attempt

I spent the Afternoon with Jen Nelson (see her blog http://thetinybluebutterfly.blogspot.co.uk/) watching her craft and learning techniques.

 

It was a great afternoon and I learnt quite a bit.
